Wellness At Bat in the News!

free health and family fun fair will be offered at Trenton Thunder Ballpark on Saturday, April 26 10am to 2pm, organized by CHSofNJ. Activities will include an inflatable obstacle course, run the bases, speed pitch, Zumba, healthy cooking demo, storytime in the dugout, health screenings, ballpark lunch and much more!

Trenton Area Stakeholders Kick Off National Social Work Month

National Social Work Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the dedication of social workers who make a lasting impact on individuals, families, and communities. The Children’s Home Society of NJ (CHSofNJ) had the privilege of launching this important month by hosting the Trenton Area Stakeholders Meeting, bringing together over 100 social service and nonprofit funding professionals for a morning of meaningful discussion, collaboration, and innovation.

$25,000 Awarded to CHSofNJ Doula Program

CHSofNJ is excited to announce that we have been awarded a $25,000 grant by The James Boskey Memorial Foundation to scale up our community doula program.
CHSofNJ Community Doula Services provide support and education to low-income women in their native language, helping to drastically improve maternal and infant health, infant mortality rates, pre-term deliveries, and low birth weight.
