Your generous giving allows us to continue providing services to the children and families in our care. One-time and recurring donations are how we are able to support our mission of saving children’s lives and building healthy families.

If you are interested in Legacy Giving, please contact Lisa Thibault for more information at lthibault@chsofnj.org.

Annual Drives and Events

CHSofNJ runs many events and drives every single year. Our drives include Back to School, Thanksgiving Gift Cards, Giving Tuesday, Winter Wear and Holiday Gifts. We also have an ongoing need for diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, feminine hygiene products, and new clothing.

These gifts provide so much comfort and joy in our communities. To schedule a donation drop-off, or learn about starting your own drive, please contact Ariana Bartolomea for more information at cbartolomea@chsofnj.org.

Auxiliary Board

The Auxiliary Board of The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization established in 1963 by founder Shirley (Thomas) Hartig. Shirley made it our mission to help save children’s lives. Our two charter members, Ruth Bartasawitz and Marilyn Carroll, along with thirty women remain committed to promoting good public relations for The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey and fundraising for their Infant Care and Adoption Program.

The Auxiliary Board meets once a month to collaborate on fun and creative ideas to generate funds for such worthy causes. We invite local women to join us in saving children’s lives. If you’re interested in learning more about the important work we do or becoming a member, please check out our brochure, and fill out the form below.
